Casey teaches our

playing parties and festivals up and down the east coast. Throughout
high school and college Casey played banjo with several Virginia
bands, including DeSoto, Girls Nite Out, and the Grass Reflection,
and taught lessons in Charlottesville. Upon graduating from the
University of Virginia in May 2000 with a BA in English and Women's
Studies, Casey set to work on her first banjo CD, "Real Women
Drive Trucks," which was released in December 2000.
Since relocating to Nashville, Tenn., in early 2001 Casey has
played with Uncle Earl, the Jim Hurst Band, Tim Graves and Cherokee,
June Carter Cash, and Tennessee Heartstrings. She recorded one CD with the latter entitled
New Strings, New Hearts which can be found on the CD page of this site.
